Find out about what we have been up to and how we are helping to raise cash for charity.

31 August 2010

Wow I can't believe how long its been since I last updated this page, I have been really busy with events this year sadly not all of them have been successful as others but in this game you have to take the highs with the lows,

Ive met some new friends and found out about some new events coming up so its not as bad as it sounds.

Christmas is coming up and I'm getting booked in for Christmas fayres so hopefully have as good a Chrirstmas time as I had last year so watch the event page for more info on my events.

17 May 2010

Apologies to anyone who came along to Pedal It Pink to see us but at the last minute Historic Scotland decided that they were not allowing commercial stalls in Holyrood Park on Sunday.

We spent the weekend at Kelso Vintage Car Rally, it was good to see all the old cars and tractors etc but we would like to have seen more customers although the weather did  hold up for us with a fwe light showers.

13 May 2010

Well its been a while since I added anything here but been rather busy and have had lots of work on and got lots planned for the coming months.

The highlight of my diary this year so far has to be Daniel's day it ws a lovely day and a lovely way to remember a lovely wee boy and raise cash for a great cause.

Ive just updated the events page so why not take  look and see if there are any days out you fancy coming along to

22 March 2010

Thanls to those of you who came along to Portobello on Saturday, it was a bit short notice but went well, it was my first event I have done with the organisers and am 100% happy with the organisation. I am back at this venue again with the same organisers on 24th April - see you there

13th February 2010

Well it was tough but I got up lol, yeah it was my first fayre of 2010, I was at North Berwick, the weather was fine and it was a good turn out didnt sell much but I quite expected that I just wanted to get back out there and even to see fellow stall holders I have'nt seen since last year.

Well the pamper night is certainly shaping up, the raffle prizes are looking good and we have a great variety of stalls. So I am really looking forward to it, I will be appearing on Leith FM this Thursday on a live talk show talking about my fundraising, I must say I am a wee bit nervous but at th esame time very excited.

Thats me until next Saturday when I am doing a private event with Pauline but will give you news on Sunday

09th Februarey 2010

Looking forward to Saturday and getting back on the road again, I am at North Berwick this week, which is much better than last year as my first event last year wasnt until 4th April so I am getting started earlier this year.

I've just updated the events page of my current events I will be attending this year.

08th January 2010

Sent the booking forms away for the Summer and Autumn events and also ventured out to pay the deposit for the Summer Ball only to find that the Hotel was closed so a wasted trip but not to bother I will venture out next week, perhaps on Wednesday night with Pauline after we view the Post Office Club hall.

Ive now got the website for the Autum Fayre up and running and will be adding to it as and when I need to

I have also had confirmation that Sharon will be providing the refreshments for our Summer Fun Day and Autumn Fayre, glad that is sorted.

05th January 2010

Well finaly confirmed the date and venue for The Summer Ball, its 4th September at Claremont Hotel, Claremont Crescent, Edinburgh, I will confirm times when I go over to pay deposit.

I was a bit gutted I couldnt get August but he doesnt hire his function hall out in August, Ive been to functions here before (infact had my wedding reception here) and have had a fab time on each occasion.

Once again I am going to call upon my wonderful hubby to do the buffet which I know will be spectacular.

Keep an eye here and on our dedicated fundraising page for more info

04th January 2010

Happy New Year to you all, well its only 4th January and already the plans for the fundraising events are coming on. Pauline and I hope to go and view a couple of venues either later this week or during next for the pamper evening.

Thanks to my hubby we have our first raffle prize which is a bottle of Chardonnay and he is going to do the buffet with no charge for his labour we only have to buy the food.

I have done many events for Charities this year which I will be adding tothe side panels very soon.

I am also in the process of updating the website and not got long to go until its all ready but I still have loads of jewellery and watches to add so its the case of just coming back to see what new items have been added.

30th May 2009

07th April 2009

I would likek to thank those of you who visited my stall at the Edinburgh Babysitting Service Easter Fair on Saturday. It was good to see you epecially since the weathe was miserable.

31st December 2008

Have added "Previous" and "Next" links to the bottom of all the stock pages to make it easier for you to navigate through the pages without having to scroll up the page.

23rd December 2008

Jamies Page is really coming on, I have managed to get a couple of sponsors who have given us a few links that are search engines. So basically every time you use these search engines our sponsors will give us 2p to donate to the appeal at this moment in time there are 3 links which if you were to use all 3 would be 6p a day donated to the appeal. There are instructions underneath them telling you how to do them but any doubts feel free to ask.  I hope I will be able to add more links in the future.

22nd December 2008

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who came to the Tollcross Arts & Craft Fair on Saturday. Ok we didnt get as many visitors as we would have hoped for but it was still a good day as I got to see people I met at other fairs as well as meeting new people too. The event also had a raffle which raised some cash for Simpsons babies, as soon as I find out the total raised there I will update this space.

Second - I have set up a link exchange page please visit and see if you can exchange your web site's banner with us.

Lastly - I have set up Jamies Page which is a dedicated page to our chosen charity of 2009, please visit and see if you can help us to raise cash for a well deserving cause.

15th December 2008

I have decided that our nominated charity for 2009 will be The James Bulger House Appeal, I watched the documentary last week and just thought hey lets help his mum reach her £1,000,000.00 target and get a real memorial to James who I'm sure you will all agree was a lovely wee boy and didnt deserve to be taken away from his parents so tragically. Please keep watch to find out how much we are raising and fingers crossed we will be donating a fair bit at the end of 2009.

6th December 2008

I had a stall at Leith Scout Hall in aid of Hope Worldwide. It was a good day, there were lots of people in the hall and some nice stalls too. The choir gave us entertainment with some nice christmas carols and I even won a prize in the raffle lol. I donated £10 for my stall but as of yet unaware of how much the event managed to raise in total but as soon as I find out I will update the site

I received news the other day that this event managed to raise a massive total of £700 + for Hope Worldwide which is great considering the amount of people who turned out for the event.

28th November 2008

I had a stall at The Royal Mile Primary School Christmas Fayre, it was a great day, the children really enjoyed themselves, I can't believe how well my stall done with the children they loved it, most of them bought christmas presents for their mums, grannies, sisters and even friends. I really enjoyed myself today. I managed to donate £15 to the school.

15th November 2008

Thanks to everyone who came to the Christmas Fayre at St Columba's By The Castle church and also those who hired stalls. We were able to raise £150 for Home Start which is much appreciated.
